1. What are the prerequisites for the CCNA course?
Good knowledge of written English. CFC or high school diploma recommended. Knowledge of the network world is not required.
2. What are the prerequisites for the CCNP course?
Good knowledge of written English. CCNA certification or successful completion of CCNA course module exams;
3. What is the schedule for the CCNA and/or DevNet courses?
CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and DevNet Associate courses are organized during the summer academy at HEIA-FR. These trainings can be organized on request specifically for companies (with a minimum of 5 participants).
Each student of our academy receives a detailed schedule on the first day of the course.
4. What is the schedule of CCNP courses?
The CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) courses consist of 2 modules of 70h. These courses can be organized on request specifically for companies (with a minimum of 5 participants).
5. What is the price of the CCNA courses?
The price is SFr. 7'125.- for a total of 210 hours of classes (ITN+SRWE+ENSA, VAT included, payable in advance, non refundable).
6. What is the price of the CCNP courses?
The price is SFr. 6'000 for a total of 140 hours of courses (ENCOR + ENARSI, VAT included, payable in advance, non-refundable).

8. What is the language of the CCNA/CCNP/DEVASC courses?
The multimedia course and course materials are in English, French and German. Explanations can be given in English, French or German.
9. Is my English sufficient to take the CCNA/CCNP/DEVASC course?
The TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) English test with at least 500 points is recommended.
10. I don't speak French, but I do speak English. Can I take the CCNA, CCNP or DEVASC courses?
Yes, you can.
11. Can I take the CCNA modules in a different order (courses, semesters)?
No, you cannot. It is necessary to pass a module to move on to the next module.
12. Can I take the CCNP modules in a different order (courses, semesters)?
Yes, you can. Any combination is possible.
13. Are there any price reductions, for example for students, retired or unemployed people?
No, there are no reductions
