Cisco offers a range of courses as part of the Cisco Networking Academy. This allows students to gain excellent knowledge in the world of networking and IT security. The HEIA-FR is a Cisco Networking Academy partner and also a Academy Support Center and holds courses that prepare students for the CCNA Routing & Switching (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification, which covers the basics of networking, from network applications to communication protocols.

Description of the content

This course is composed of three modules of 70 hours each:

• Introduction to Networks (ITN)
• Switching, routing and wireless (SRWE)
• Enterprise Networks, Security and Automation (ENSA)

Each module contains:

• a multimedia theory course
• exercises and exams
• laboratories (practical exercises)

Admission

A good knowledge of written English is required. A diploma such as CFC or Maturité is recommended. Networking skills are not a prerequisite. The multimedia course is in English or French; explanations are given in English, French or German. For more information, please contact :
